What is DECA?

​

DECA is an international business competition for high

school students and features over 215 000 members in

over 10 countries. DECA provides students with networking

and travel opportunities, as well as the chance to participate

in various competitions. With 5 diverse clusters related to

business, students can select and compete in events that

play to their strengths, interests, and passions. Students

involved in DECA have the unique opportunity to strengthen

vital 21st century skills such as researching and presenting,

along with developing self-confidence and morale. 

 

The Central Peel DECA Chapter consists of 60 diligent students who possess a passion for innovation and want to immerse themselves in the world of business. The chapter continues to accelerate and grow, as 2017-2018 marked the first year students advanced to ICDC.
